Established in 2002. Casa Barranca is nestled in the Ojai Valley est of Santa Barbara. Casa Barranca was the first Certified Organic Winery and Vineyard in California's central coast wine region. We handcraft our wine from organic, bio-dynamic, and sustainably farmed grapes in our century old underground stone cistern, a central feature of the National Historic Landmark in Casa Barranca Estate- aka The Pratt House- designed by Green and Green 1908. In keeping with our Craftsman heritage, we support a harmonic balance with nature in our approach to grape growing and wine making. As a "green" winery we employ responsible wine making practices without the use of toxic solvents or cleaners.
